if a tree falls in the forest...

One of the things about living on the peninsula is that most of the time the weather is gorgeous...but when it gets cloudy and rainy it really affects the temperature.  We had a few days where it got down into the low sixties and fifties!  Not that I was complaining, though, it was perfect for styling my new faux coonskin cap!

I was exploring last week and ran across this strange scene.  There cottage that stood here was literally flattened when a large tree fell on top of it during a storm.  It's now an abandoned mess of wood, glass, and plant overgrowth.

Where are you from, Indy? I've been trying to find out, but can't find a clue! (Okay total creeper status but the one thing I gathered was that fish creek moccasin works is from Wisconsin?)
