wearing // a handmade scarf and a cozy sweater

After a long thrifting dry spell, I found a lot of really beautiful pieces the other day. One of them was this lovely vintage sweater! I used to be more into buying old sweaters, but they were more novelty pieces that ended up sitting in the back of my closet. Now I've sold most of my collection and kept only my favorites, and I rarely buy sweaters anymore. This one caught my eye because of the classic bold colors and design. I see this one being a favorite over the next few months.

This is one of my essential fall outfits, or a version of it, anyways. This is what one would find me wearing most days whether I'm hiking, sipping tea in my favorite cafe, or out on the porch carving pumpkins. A big comfy sweater, leggings, a hat, and a pair of excellent boots. What else cold you need on a beautiful fall day?

That sweater looks so cozy! Loving those bad-ass boots! There was a very convenient thrift store in walking distance, but sadly it closed, so now I have to find new places to find cute knickknacks and big sweaters.

Your hair and lipstick look very pretty and I love the outfit. The scarf you knitted, the pretty jumper, the H+M hat, your jewelry and black skinny jeans all look lovely styled together.
